Travel with the Gardens
While we are partial to our Punta Gorda gem, we are blessed with many nearby opportunities in beautiful southwest Florida. As a benefit to our members, we are offering an exclusive outreach program to explore unique artistic and botanical wonders in our neighboring areas. Four times a year we will put together an exclusive day trip opportunity to other regional gardens

Bonnet House
Fort Lauderdale, Florida π March 25, 2026
This spring excursion took members across Florida's east coast for a private tour of the historic Bonnet House estate, lunch overlooking the waterfront veranda, and a special visit with friends from ZimSculpt.

Naples Botanical Garden

Thank you to a wonderful group who joined us for a day trip to the beautiful Naples Botanical Garden on Jun 18, 2026.
Our own Thomas Hecker offered a wonderful "insiders' tour" from his knowledge as the Founding Director of Horticulture at that gardens' inception. This day trip was fun to experience with our fellow Peace River Gardens members, and a neat opportunity to appreciate the perspective of other area attractions.
