Vincent Leow

Vincent is an artist and an art educator whose practice spans a wide range of genres from sculpture, installation, and performance art to painting and mixed media. He studied and graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art (Sculpture) from the LASALLE College of arts in 1987. He obtained his Masters in Fine Art (MFA) from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 1991, and his Doctorate of Fine Art (DFA) from the Royal Melbourne Institue of Technology in Melbourne (RMIT) in 2005.


Vincent taught art at the LASALLE (2003-2007) at Sharjah University, College of Fine Arts and Design in the United Arab Emirates (2008-2013). He has also exhibited internationally and regionally. Vincent’s works have been collected and commissioned by various public institutions such as museums, corporate companies, and private collections both locally and internationally.


Vincent was awarded the Culture Award (2002) by the Japenese Chamber of Commerce and industry for his contributions to the arts in 2002. He represented Singapore in the 52nd Venice Biennale of Contemporary art (2007), the 9th Indian Triennial of Contemporary Art, Bisbane Australia (1993).
